Strong Start

The characters are heading to the Northlook Inn to meet with their group patron when they notice ghouls eating a corpse!

[ ] The corpse wasn't killed by the ghouls. It has a slashed throat and an icy dagger tip lodged in its chest.
[ ] The person killed was Gyse, a noble's son.
[ ] It's been two days since the last new moon. Bormos Gentlewhisker was chosen as the sacrifice. His body still is tied to the dead tree outside of Bryn Shander, frozen in place.
[ ] Gyse's father paid off a brother of the Children of Auril to take his son's tile out of the lottery.
[ ] Torg's Merchant Company had come through in the past couple of days and now made their way to Good Meade.
[ ] Some people have seen strange small glowing creatures lurking around Ten Towns.
[ ] Others report seeing boot prints forming by themselves in the snow.
