Secret and Clues

• The medusa are followers of Chernobog (MWB 393). Some of them have allied with the Ghoul Imperium in a truce and has a simiar truce with King Lucan.
• The Blood Sisters have splintered that truce, though, and Emperor Nicoforus the Pale and King Lucan have begun to ignore the medusa of Thorn and the Stone Galleries known as the Veiled or the Forgotten Children. This built resentment in the Veiled.
• Many of the medusa of the Veiled were once elves cursed by their kind to an existence of hideousness. They have banded together. Their crimes weren’t worth an eternity such as this.
• The Veiled know of a joining – a bond – between the ghouls and the vampires officiated by the Blood Sisters. The Veiled would like nothing better than to shatter this bond so the ghouls and vampires must rely on the Veiled once again.
