Strong Start

An oorgolain Myrmadon walks through the fields near the town. Then suddenly they all Shift and see the Myrmadon back where it started moving into the town again.

  • There are a dozen Oorgolian solders.
  • There are half dozen Oorgolian testers.
  • There are twenty four nanos of Scarlet Watch hooked up to pilons that drive manufacture all over the world.
  • Other creatures lurking about below the lab the Oorgolians haven’t bothered with.

• Goal: Rescue the Scarlet Watch nanos
• Reward: Roughly two dozen nanos and a facilitator for the Hive and 4 xp.

Secret and Clues

• [x] There is a statute to a nano-goddess named Reya beneath the town in a cave known as Sunken Reya.
• [x] Some rebels of Scarlet Watch hide in Sunken Reya and have a handful of nano children they’re hiding from the Oorgolians.
• [x] The Shift happens every twelve hours or so. The people of Scarlet Watch typically just get a warning. A bell. And everyone stops what they’re doing and then things jump back 30 seconds and then they keep doing what they’re going to do. The Shift feels like extreme dejavu.
• [x] Something inside the Scarlet Watcher causes the shift but no one has found out what and they worry about screwing around with it too much so they just let it be.
• [x] Scarlet Watch has about 5x as many nanos per capita as any other place in the Steadfast.
• [x] The Oorgolians take the nanos they discover to an old vault of ancient datasphere war machines known as Amberfall – War Machine Ruins.
