• [ ] Takryn the Herald (Former Excogitate) was an explorer and historian who dove deep into the relics of previous ages. He is equally obsessed with understanding history and incorporating Numenera. He cares little for the current world or its people.
• [ ] Takryn is nearly a thousand years old and has given up his physical body to become a being more ethereal.
• [ ] Takryn has explored many worlds beyond including a recursive set of simulated worlds for hundreds of years.
• [ ] “There are other worlds than these”.
• [ ] Takryn wants to dive into other worlds and would love access to both the Realm Outside where the fourth emperor resides and access to the Fourth Emperor’s datasphere.
• [x] Something shattered the Fourth Empire after millions of years of control. Almost no records exist of what did it but there almost a complete dark age for millions of years after the Fourth Empire fell. Even the Datasphere was dark.
