An ancient bard clockwork construct named Sir Bartholomew who's Soul Gem is a former war general and diplomat - a renaissance man of sorts - with a love wine, culture, music, and history. He was brought up in the Zobeck aristocracy, following his dad's footsteps as a military officer, rising through the ranks from various campaigns to achieve the rank of general. He stepped down upon his father's death to manage the estate, living a life of prestige and wealth as a diplomat for Zobeck. Upon his death he paid a clockwork wizard to have his consciousness transfer to a Soul Gem and live on as a construct. Over the many years following, he served as an emeritus professor in war tactics, took on several hobbies, including several musical instruments, and consulted as a defense contractor. However, despite years of pursuing various professions and flights of fancy, he finds him self further distanced from his former peers being he is no longer truly human, with many of his peers and contacts long gone to history. Only echoes of his past life remain after hundreds of years. He now is an aimless man out of time and has a deep sense of loneliness and malaise, wandering the countryside for anything that might bring him joy and belonging. Perhaps recent rumors of an emergent, cataclysmic world-threatening event near the logging settlement of Redtower will see his name called again to the fore.
