  • Step 2: Re-establish the temples of the Fourth Emperor. Rebuild the legions of the Walkers of Beyond.
  • Step 3: Restart the no-nite factories and fires up the Skybreakers
  • Final Step: Step into the world and reforge its body from the Outside, the Datasphere, and the World.
• Taera - Justicar of Angule
  • Goal: Eliminate the foreign influence of the Fourth Emperor at all costs.
  • Step 1: Arrive at Bodrov - The Queen’s Plateau and eliminate Makenna the Angulan Knight.
  • Step 2: Establish the Knights of Angule in Bodrov. Soldiers loyal to her and her alone.
  • Step 3: Build Numenera capable of identifying the influence of the no-nos.
  • Final Step: Elimination of all infested with the no-nites.
• Xerson - Bishop of Truth
  • Goal: Take control over Bodrov - The Queen’s Plateau and use it to send all numenera back to the Amber papacy.
  • Step 1: Arrival in Bodrov - The Queen’s Plateau. Take over for Maeve Jacobs – the Aeon Priest.
  • Step 2: Establish a cypher and Numenera tax for explorers.
  • Step 3: Eliminate Viceroy Euenos – Viceroy of Bodrov.
  • Final Step: Take over Bodrov - The Queen’s Plateau.

Old Campaign Outline

• Travel into the Cannister Datasphere. Find out the purpose of the no-nites.
• Travel to the Acidic Pools and discover the lost Temple of the Fourth Emperor there.
• Disable the no-nite generators at the Factory
• Turn off the no-nite distribution vents.
• Enter the datasphere of the Herald.
• Travel into the Outside and learn the origin of the Fourth Emperor.
• Travel into the Datasphere temple of the Fourth Emperor
• Find the vault of the Sage. Speak to the last ancestor of the Fourth Age.

Campaign Truths

The Fourth Emperor is trying to come back.

The fourth emperor used extensive bio-engineering to build its empire.

The fourth emperor had its own version of Aeon Priests who dealt in nanotechnology, the data sphere, and travel to other worlds and dimensions. They did terrible things to do this. They are known as the Walkers of Beyond.

The coming of the Fourth Emperor is preceded by the rising of the Heralds, four beings both biological and machine that prepare the world for its coming. The Heralds create or draw the Walkers to it and begin to prepare.

There are four temples of the Walkers and four Skybreakers. The Skybreakers clone and propel environmentally-changing nonites into the atmosphere.

There’s factory known as the Forge of Worlds that creates and breeds no-nites for various purposes.
