Strong Start

The Icosahedron stops spinning and then a huge earthquake hits! Outside clouds of different colors show twisted beams of the ley lines. Birds are flying in weird patterns. The ley lines are getting pulled out of whack and causing the lands to rebel. The Icosahedron starts back up again.

Earthquake in the temple of the Wyrdweaver.
Any remaining downtime or purchases in Redtower.
Courses of Action
- Return to the dwarven crypts to go back to level 3 and deal with the Trollkin
- Return to the upper ruins and make their way back down to level 2
- Are they going to deal with Cagoth-ze – Twister of Time or ignore him and his time machine for the time being?
- Are they delving further down or heading back up?

Secret and Clues

[ ] What does Bart seek in the Scarlet Citadel?
[ ] The four agents of the Scarlet Citadel were pulling energy out of the twisted leylines for years which has put tremendous stress on the whole region.
[ ] As each anchor of the Scarlet Citadel is removed or broken, the leylines twist in new directions.
[ ] Only in removing all four anchors can the leylines repair themselves and settle into their original position, and putting the land to rest.
[ ] The alchemist’s forge was one such anchor. Cagoth-ze – Twister of Time’s time machine is another.
[ ] Two more anchors exist below in the Scarlet Citadel. (The Chained Thing (143) and the Void if Annihilation (pg 168).
[ ] Three of the Agents of the Scarlet Citadel remain: Cagoth-ze – Twister of Time, Clara – Former Imortra the Debased – Former Disciple of Gellart, and Gellert the Gruesome – Heir to the Scarlet Citadel.
[ ] Clara – Former Imortra the Debased – Former Disciple of Gellart is responsible for summoning the Chained Thing. Imorta also acts as Gellart’s liaison to the rest of the population of the Scarlet Citadel.
[ ] Clara – Former Imortra the Debased – Former Disciple of Gellart and Gellert the Gruesome – Heir to the Scarlet Citadel are feared by most every intelligent creature in the Citadel.
[ ] Cagoth-ze – Twister of Time wears a ring able to disable the Anchor incased in the time machine.
